Best Technology Application Award 

The winner for the Technology Application Award is MEQ LIVE – MEQ.

MEQ LIVE is a revolutionary agriculture-focussed technology that allows breeders, farmers, feedlot operators and sale yards to measure the meat quality and yield (consumable meat) of a live animal while reducing carbon emissions within the industry.

Outstanding Start-Up Award – proudly sponsored by BlueRock

The winner for the Outstanding Start-Up Award is Lindo Tube – Lindo Life Science. 

Lindo Life Science is proud to have recently announced the establishment of a know-how license agreement with Mayo Clinic. This collaboration aims to develop a groundbreaking endotracheal tube embedded with antimicrobial blue light technology, intended to significantly reduce instances of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP).

Leader of the Year

The winner for the Leader of the Year is Geoff Crittenden – Weld.

Geoff started his career as an engineer in the British Army, serving for over 15 years. He has held senior leadership positions with Transfield Worley, Cynergy Group, and the Risk Management Institute before joining Weld in 2014 as its Chief Executive Officer.  He has led multidisciplinary teams in highly technical and complex environments and has developed and implemented long-term business strategies that have led to strong growth.

Most Innovative Manufacturing Company Award 

The winner for the Most Innovative Manufacturing Company Award is Amiga Engineering Pty Ltd.

Amiga Engineering is an Australian based manufacturing company known for its innovation and advancements in the industry. Amiga has made significant investments in additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, which has enabled it to create complex geometries and intricate designs with great precision.

Project of the Year 

The winner for the Project of the Year is “Towpreg” Masts for the Olympics – CST Composites.

With almost 30 years of experience in supplying masts for sailing competitions, CST Composites recognises the importance of significantly reducing this variation. Therefore, CST initiated a project to develop the world’s first sailing masts with a performance variation of less than 2%, without increasing costs.

Australian Manufacturer of the Year 

The winner for the Manufacturer of the Year is MEQ.

MEQ has continued to revolutionise the meat industry through their ability to provide relevant data solutions. It is through projects like MEQ live which has allowed to business to grow whilst meeting the expectations of their customers.
