2019 NOMINATIONS

Manufacturers Monthly is pleased to open nominations for the 2019 Endeavour Awards! Full nomination criteria for each category is listed below. Nominations are free and must be submitted online using the forms below.

Nominations will close on 29 March 2019.


BEST INDUSTRIAL IOT APPLICATION
Nominee companies will be assessed on the extent and quality of their use of smart factories implementing Industrial IOT applications to assist in the areas of operations and manufacturing

Nomination criteria:
1. IOT application must benefit both operations and manufacturing.
2. IOT application must have been installed in the last 12 months from 1 January 2018.

EXPORTER OF THE YEAR
Nominee companies will be assessed on their exporting success with a locally made product or service

Nomination criteria:
1. Companies must export to at least one country.
2. Companies must be able to show a correlation between exporting and business success.
3. Companies must be able to provide evidence of revenue generation derived directly from exports.
4. Companies must be able to describe how they have amended products (if necessary) to fit an international market (as opposed to a domestic one).

GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN INTEGRATION OF THE YEAR
Nominees will be evaluated on their unique experience and/or products that allow them to successfully access the global supply chain.

Nomination criteria:
1. Companies must be able to demonstrate the extent of their international network and reach.
2. Companies must be able to demonstrate the measure of success that global integration has had on the business.
3. Companies must provide evidence of how they have adapted to succeed in the international market.

MOST INNOVATIVE MANUFACTURING COMPANY
Nominees will be evaluated on their Australian made and/or designed products and their points of difference to other available products designed for industrial applications

Nomination criteria:
1. Nominee must manufacture and/or design products within Australia for industrial applications.
2. Products must have a point of difference to other available products.
3. Products must be available in the Australian market from 1 January 2018.

OUTSTANDING START-UP
Nominees will be evaluated on their organisations and what they bring to the manufacturing sector.

Nomination criteria:
1. Business must be Australian, and have been established the last two years from 1 January 2017.
2. Business must be manufacturing/producing items or programs that are available within Australia.

SAFETY SOLUTION OF THE YEAR
Nominees will be evaluated on how their development, technology or initiative ensures that safety is paramount.

Nomination criteria:
1. Solution must be manufactured in Australia, or manufactured by an Australian-owned company.
2. Solution must deliver a demonstrable increase to safety/decrease to risk.

AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCT OF THE YEAR
Nominees will be evaluated on their Australian made and/or designed products and their points of difference to other available products designed for industrial application

Nomination criteria:
1. Product must be made and/or designed in Australia.
2. Product must be designed for industrial applications.
3. Product must differ significantly from others on the market, or address a new issue.

ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTION OF THE YEAR
Nominees will be evaluated on how their development, technology or initiative has made a positive impact to environmental sustainability in manufacturing.

Nomination criteria:
1. Nominee has developed an environmental project within the last 12 months from 1 January 2018.
2. Project has delivered measurable environmental benefits since its introduction.
3. Project differs significantly from others in the industry, or is the first of its kind.

TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION
Nominees will be evaluated on how their new technology application provides a benefit to the industry and the broader community.

Nomination criteria:
1. Application was designed and/or engineered/manufactured in Australia within the past 12 months, from 1 January 2018.
2. Application must have a tangible benefit to the manufacturing industry.
3. Application must have a demonstrable benefit to the broader community.

MANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR
From the numerous entries received across all categories of the 2019 Endeavour Awards, one trailblazer stands out for outstanding innovation in the areas of technology, management and product development.

Nomination criteria:
1. Company must have been nominated for an award in any other category of the 2019 Endeavour Awards

All organisations who are nominated in any other category are automatically included in the running for Manufacturer of the Year.
